Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, walk‑in cooler, and work area. Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete related paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily. Training On‑the‑job orientation and training provided. Communication Skills Comprehend and give accurate written instructions. Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, both over the phone and in person. Essential Functions/Skills Perform accurate arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Make correct monetary change. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Navigate maps and locate addresses within the delivery area. Handle adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, and deliveries while carrying products. Demonstrate fine motor coordination for precise, rapid movements. Work Conditions Elevation and temperature variations in store and outdoor environments. Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and fumes. Possibility of hot surfaces/tools up to 500 degrees. Use of sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Variable weather when delivering product. Sensing and Temperament Listening and talking on the telephone. Near‑to‑mid range vision for in‑store tasks. Depth perception and ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Night vision for driving. Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, handle stress, maintain quality control, and make judgments. Qualifications Management experience required; quick‑service restaurant experience a plus. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Vehicle for delivery (insured) as required for the role. Physical Requirements Standing, walking, and occasional sitting for tasks such as paperwork. Lifting up to 50 pounds and stacking onto shelves up to 72 inches high. Carrying items such as large cans (up to 3 lb 7 oz) and pizza dough trays (approx. 12 lb) over short distances. Pushing or pulling trays on dollies, requiring up to 7.5 lb of force. Climbing stairs or ladders, including up to five flights during delivery. Stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting when stocking or cleaning low areas; repetitive bending for 30‑45 sec periods. Reaching above 72 inches and down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes. Driving within the designated delivery area. Benefits Estimated salary range $60,000–$75,000+ with bonus potential.
