Deskside Technician (Miami)

In this role, you will: Provide hands-on support for desktops and laptops, troubleshooting hardware and software issues on both Mac and Windows platforms Assist users with mobile devices, printers, scanners, wireless networks, and VPN connections Perform IMAC tasks—installations, moves, additions, and changes of IT equipment Maintain and repair IT assets, including parts and components Research, diagnose, and resolve technical issues swiftly, keeping detailed records of system configurations and incident resolutions Support backup, data migration, and restoration processes Deliver Smart Hands services, including networking, server, and telecommunications support Manage inventory and conduct asset audits Follow documented procedures and knowledge base articles to troubleshoot complex issues Be available for after-hours support and work across multiple client locations as needed Required Skills: Proven experience supporting Mac OS, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office suite Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop/laptop hardware and software issues Familiarity with network support, printers, scanners, and wireless configurations Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish are preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high‑pressure environment Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform manual setup tasks High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications like A+ and MCP are a plus Nice to Have Skills: Knowledge of AV conferencing systems and other collaboration tools Experience supporting remote locations and users ITIL Foundations, Lean Six Sigma, or other process optimization certifications Preferred Education and Experience: Technical certifications such as A+ and MCP are desirable Previous experience in a corporate or enterprise support role This is your chance to join a vibrant team committed to innovation, professional growth, and excellence in service delivery. #J-18808-Ljbffr Talon Professional Services
