About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collector II to join our healthcare billing team. In this onsite role, you will be responsible for navigating healthcare collections, reviewing EOBs, and working directly within various payer portals. The ideal candidate is a fast learner who possesses critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive with minimal supervision. Required Qualifications Industry Background: Prior experience working for a hospital, healthcare provider, or health insurance organization. System Knowledge: Hands-on experience using the Epic system is required. Billing Expertise: understanding of EOBs (Explanation of Benefits). Payer Portals: Proven experience utilizing commercial and government payer portals (e.g., BCBS, UHC, Medicare). Preferred Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience specifically in Hospital and/or Physician billing. Prior experience in healthcare collections. Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with minimal supervision. critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment in complex billing scenarios.

salary: $20.99 - $21 per hour
