SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT

DOWNTOWN ALBANY

Fusco Personnel is partnering with a well-established, privately held wealth management firm to identify an experienced Senior Accountant for a direct-hire opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working across multiple business entities in a collaborative, stable environment with long-term growth potential.

Our client oversees a diverse portfolio of businesses, including wealth management, real estate rentals and construction, equipment leasing, and tax services. This position reports directly to the Head of Accounting and plays a key role in supporting financial operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain general ledgers and perform reconciliations for multiple business entities.
2. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
3. Prepare financial reports, reconcile intercompany transactions, and support audits.
4. Assist leadership with financial analysis, reporting, and special projects.
5. Coordinate with external accountants and help improve accounting processes.
6. Provide accounting support for rental property operations.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
2. 3+ years of accounting experience with strong general ledger and month-end close knowledge.
3. Experience with multiple entities preferred.
4. Proficiency in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Excel.
5. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
6. Simple tax preparation experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

1. $65,000–$80,000, based on experience.
