Lead Mechanical EngineerCummings Electrical is hiring a Lead Mechanical Engineer for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX.Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC's and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.As part of our team, you will work hands-on in a fast-paced, innovative environment, helping reduce jobsite risks, accelerate project timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions. If you are looking for growth, meaningful work, and a chance to be part of a team shaping the future of off-site integration and manufacturing, this is the place to make an impact!ResponsibilitiesLead a team of electrical and HVAC engineers to create/update Architectural (A sheets), HVAC (M Sheets) and/or Electrical (E sheets) for the Issued for Approval, As-built and Closeout Submittal drawing setsBe the PM/face/voice of a team of engineers during meetings/calls for specific projects. Attend and Lead Engineering Meetings/Calls with the Client or with Cummings Integrated Manufacturing Operations team. Accurately communicate team progress, needs and answer questions as necessaryCreate standards for the Integrated manufacturing HVAC designs and HVAC controls for modular e-housesFinal review of the Issued for Approval, As-built and Closeout Submittal drawings. Ensure all plans are completed per the clients' scope/specifications and applicable codes/jurisdictional requirementsEnsure HVAC and Electrical design adhere to national/local codes and follows all clients needs and specificationsVerify heat load calculations for each project and ensure proper sizing of HVAC equipmentCreate/Verify CFD analysis for each project and ensure HVAC design meets heat load requirementsCoordinate with HVAC, Enclosure and Electrical vendors and suppliers to choose the best engineered system for each specific projectKeep Engineering Manager in the loop on design issues, schedule impacts and resolutionsKeep Electrical Engineering in the loop on electrical requirements and spacing needs for HVAC equipmentAnswer questions for the Cummings Integrated Manufacturing production/operations teamHelp innovate the modular building HVAC designBe available for design meetings in case Engineering Manager requires additional expertise or support during design meetings with client/project teamBe available for occasional site visits or industry conferences to build a reputation and continually learn what's happening within the industryQualificationsMinimum 5-7 years experienceDegree in Mechanical Engineering preferredPE License preferredExperience with Revit and AutoCADLeadership/Mentoring experience preferredHow we support you:Our environment allows you to take pride in your work, create meaningful connections, and acquire growth-based development skills.
