Stealth Security Startup Cofounder & Accelerator Lead

Startup founded by award-winning entrepreneur and reputable Homeland Security technology scientists seeking cofounder. Sophisticated, innovative enterprise SaaS product developed by founding team meets and exceeds important national security and commercial security needs. Tremendous potential for growth in both commercial and government markets. Initial traction with customers and investors has already been developed.

Seeking cofounder with experience in business, startups, homeland or national security to join the team as a cofounder and to lead participation in a startup accelerator. 

Profiles that may apply:

1. Startup professional with experience in startup founding, operations, SaaS, defense, national security, software, or related experience. Customer discovery / customer research experience is a plus. 

2. National security professional seeking to branch out into the dual-use / commercial space and interested in learning about startups, venture capital and innovation. 

3. Business or MBA majors who have the time and bandwidth in their career or studies to lead the company's participation in a startup accelerator. 

Cofounder will join the team and lead applications to startup accelerators, with the goal of gaining admittance to a top startup accelerator or venture capital investment program. 

Candidate responsibilities:

* Identify startup accelerator and other programs to receive investment for company with founding team

* Develop applications for programs and track application progress

* Once accepted into accelerator, attend full-time in-person or virtual for the duration of the program (dictated by program specifics)

* During accelerator, fully-participate in all programming, and work in areas of business development, customer and market research, networking and fundraising

* At end of accelerator program, lead fundraise from angels and venture capital investors 

Initial employment scope will be limited to period of pursuing accelerator admittance and completion of startup accelerator. Candidate who is interested to continue in a leading role post-accelerator is preferred, but not required. Role focus is on accelerator admittance, success and fundraise. 

This role is an equity-only, cofounder role initially. Generous equity and ownership terms, with initial stock and vesting for the duration of the initial contract period. Opportunities for additional vesting and ownership post-accelerator. Housing, living expenses and stipend will be provided by the accelerator during accelerator period. Opportunity for full-time employment after the initial contract period.
