Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU - Full Time

MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a premier healthcare facility near Gamerco, NM!

Key Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU:

Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care, focusing on patient safety and comfort during recovery.
Full-time, direct-hire position within the PACU department.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, with no on-call duties.
Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess for any complications after surgery.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the care team to ensure smooth patient recovery.
Educate patients and their families on post-op recovery and home care instructions.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation, adhering to hospital protocols.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU:

Active RN licensure in New Mexico required.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
ACLS and CPR certifications are required.
PALS and NRP certifications are preferred.
Experience in PACU, critical care, or surgical settings is a plus.
