Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Assembler to join our team in Darien, GA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assembling heavy machinery and equipment that are essential to various industries. If you have a passion for hands-on work and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Assemble heavy equipment components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all assembled parts meet safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely during the assembly process.
- Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or improvements.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of equipment assembly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machinery or assembly preferred.
- Proven experience in heavy equipment assembly or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy components and equipment.
