Hours & Compensation School Year Schedule: Monday through Friday during regular school hours Summer School Schedule: Monday through Thursday, part-time school hours Competitive pay: $21–$25+ per hour based on experience and education Weekly pay Opportunities for long-term placement throughout the school year Position Overview As a Teacher’s Aide or Educational Instructional Aide, you will work closely with classroom teachers to help create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for students. Candidates who enjoy working with children, supporting student growth, and being part of a collaborative school team are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Support classroom teachers with daily lessons, activities, and instructional support Help create and maintain a structured, organized, and student-centered classroom environment Assist students academically, socially, and behaviorally throughout the school day Provide one‑on‑one or small group support as needed, including working with students with special needs or behavioural/emotional challenges Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence Communicate student progress and concerns with teachers and staff as appropriate Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required ParaPro Certification and/or Associate’s Degree preferred Prior experience working with children or students in a school/classroom setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families Experience supporting students with special needs, behavioural support, or emotional development is highly valued Why Join Our Team?
