Inside Sales Rep

Role Overview The Inside Sales Rep supports the company’s sales goals through excellent customer service, maintaining quality relationships with existing accounts and providing support to the sales team. Duties may vary to include some or all of the following responsibilities. Duties/Responsibilities Applies knowledge of company products/services to efficiently process customer information and respond to inquiries and complaints in a diplomatic manner. Builds and maintains quality relationships with assigned customers and increases sales volume through ongoing determination of customer requirements. Answers incoming sales calls or contacts customers via telephone or email to meet and surpass sales goals. Clarifies and fulfills customer requests by presenting product selections and providing pricing information. Maintains updated, organized records on all assigned customers. Submits weekly customer activity reports covering sales and backlog orders. Analyzes customer accounts and promptly makes corrections or modifications as necessary. Contacts customers to obtain missing information or data to ensure an accurate database. Traces and expedites late orders to ensure customer satisfaction. Resolves customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner. Conducts cold calls on designated house accounts. Provides all aspects of administrative support for the sales team. Performs other related duties as assigned. Key Performance Indicators Average Order Processing Time Lead Generation for Outside Team Upsell Rates Requirements Preferred: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred: Prior customer service or inside sales experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe. Preferred: Experience with Syspro or similar ERP software. Preferred: Knowledge of the tire and wheel industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service and time‑management skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and organize efficiently. Ability to follow directions and work well in a team. Ability to learn company products and terminology quickly. Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Physical Requirements And Work Environment Regularly required to sit. Must frequently use hands and be able to talk or hear. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms. May lift and move up to 15 pounds at times. Noise level in the work environment is moderate.
