Production Operator

Immediate Hiring For Production OperatorThe Production Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. This position does not require prior machine operating experience as training will be provided.Additional Information:1st Shift: 7am-3:30pmPay Rate: 1st Shift $20hr and $22hr for 2nd Shift8 hour shifts while training.After training candidates need to be flexible to work 1-2 hours of overtime/day. Some Saturdays (Not often)Responsibilities:Set up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.Monitor machines during operation to ensure they produce products that meet quality standards.Conduct regular in-process inspections to ensure quality control standards are met.Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments to resolve any production issues.Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality data.Maintain a standard level of productivity and quality output, committed to continuous improvement.Follow safety protocols and adhere to the proper use of PPE to ensure a safe working environment.Comply with cross-training and other training requirements.Essential Skills:Ability to speak and read English effectively.Ability to read and interpret gauges and record measurements.Understanding of safety rules, MSDS, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.Good verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management capabilities.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Mechanically inclined with machine operation experience preferred.Ability to use a computer to enter activities in ERP system (simple use).Ability to stand for an 8–10-hour shift.Able to lift 25 lbs.Prior experience preferred, but not required.Why Work Here?Once you become a direct employee, you will receive comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance, long-term disability, paid time off, 10 company holidays, and a 401(k) plan.Work Environment:1st shift from 6am-2:30pm - $20/hrMonday through Friday with flexibility for 1-2 hours of overtime per day and occasional Saturdays.2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm - $22/hrWill train on the 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) for 30 days8-hour shifts while trainingAfter training candidates need to be flexible to work 1-2 hours of OT/day.
