Continuous Improvement Manager

The Continuous Improvement Manager will lead lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives for one of Loar's Midwest business units. This position will partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and leadership teams to improve performance, drive accountability, reduce waste, and support a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. The Continuous Improvement Manager will: Lead daily management systems, Gemba walks, and visual management initiatives. Drive 5S and workplace organization efforts throughout the facility. Develop and monitor key operational performance metrics. Identify and implement opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. Lead continuous improvement projects across manufacturing and business processes. Facilitate root cause investigations and corrective action activities. Support capital equipment, facility, and process improvement initiatives. Evaluate new technologies, automation opportunities, and manufacturing processes. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve operational performance and execution. Train, coach, and influence employees and leaders on continuous improvement principles and best practices. Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement expertise. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Ability to lead cross-functional improvement initiatives. Effective root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of continuous improvement, operational excellence, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related manufacturing experience. Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving methodologies. Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality management systems preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
