We are located at 400 Highland Ave in Salem MA. As an Internal Medicine office, we provide outstanding primary care and preventative health care to adult patients. We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Medical Assistant to work onsite at our Internal Medicine practice located at 400 Highland Avenue in Salem, MA. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with staggered 8-hour shifts. During the first 90 days, the schedule for this role will be 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. For a medical assistant working one-on-one with an MD or NP, the typical daily patient volume ranges from 14 to 20. On average, the expected workload is approximately 16 patients per day. Summary: The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow.
