Recruiting for a TWO Insurance defense Litigation Attorneys: Senior Insurance Defense Litigation - 10+ years experience Mid Level Insurance Defense Litigation - 5+ years experience. Westchester County, NY A growing litigation platform is seeking a senior-level and mid-level attorney to join its Westchester office , with a focus on transportation, general liability, and insurance defense matters . This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on litigator with leadership experience to step into a hybrid practice overseeing both complex matters and day-to-day office operations. The Role The position involves handling a broad range of high-exposure litigation matters , including: General liability and complex tort claims Transportation and trucking litigation (including catastrophic injury and fatality cases) Motor vehicle and premises liability matters Construction-related claims Insurance coverage and bad faith litigation Municipal and civil rights defense The practice has a strong focus on transportation litigation , representing: Bus and paratransit companies Owner-operators, brokers, and shippers Matters range from catastrophic accidents to cargo disputes and regulatory-driven litigation , with frequent involvement in: FMCSA regulations Hours of Service / ELD compliance CSA scoring and safety standards A portion of the role may also include SIU / insurance fraud work , including: Medical provider fraud investigations Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) Coverage opinions and advisory work Carrier recovery efforts in high-value fraud matters Ideal Candidate 10+ years of insurance defense litigation experience for senior role, NY and NJ Bar Admission 5+ Years of insurance defense litigation experience for mid level role, must be commuting distance to Westchester - NY Bar Admission Experience handling transportation / trucking matters a plus Experience in coverage, SIU, or fraud-related litigation is a plus Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong courtroom, deposition, and client management skills Why This Role Combination of high-level litigation + leadership Exposure to complex, high-value matters Strong pipeline of transportation and insurance work If you’re open to a confidential discussion regarding this opportunity—or broader market options—please feel free to reach out directly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
