Job Details Position Type: Support Staff Date Posted: 5/20/2026 Location: Homewood‑Flossmoor High Community High School Date Available: 2026‑2027 School Year Length: 12‑month work calendar Salary: $28.34/hr (per negotiated agreement) Benefits: IMRF, insurance, and leave time (sick, personal, vacation) Description This position involves providing secretarial support for the Associate Principal, as well as department and building staff by performing duties as assigned. Candidates must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and student management systems. Candidates must be organized, able to prioritize work, and work well in cooperation with others. Essential Functions Creates and edits spreadsheets. Assists in creating and editing presentations. Assists in setting up various events. Maintains budgets, calendars and contracts. Prepares and processes a variety of documents. Organizes and manages projects. Procures supplies and materials. Schedules meetings and activities. Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with staff, students and families. Requirements High School diploma; College degree preferred. Secretarial experience in a school environment or business preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
