Implementation Coordinator – Internship & Workforce Services Valencia College is hiring a part‑time Implementation Coordinator to support the Internship and Workforce Services team at the West Campus. The role includes administrative, hospitality, technical, and other support duties to assist students and the department. Responsibilities Supports and coordinates department operations through complex administrative, hospitality, and technical duties such as budget management, marketing support, training support, event coordination, document and spreadsheet creation, and classroom/facilities scheduling. Provides implementation and delivery support to facilitators and instructors to ensure high‑quality delivery and customer/learner satisfaction. Ensures classrooms and facilities are reserved and properly set up. Prepares materials and supplies for implementation; coordinates class, course, and program delivery logistics as needed. Monitors and maintains inventories of educational books, materials, and supplies. Orders and purchases books, materials, and supplies; may be responsible for purchasing card and account reconciliation activities. Assists with coordinating and developing special projects, workshops, seminars, and presentations. May assist in the development of marketing, training, and/or learning materials. May be responsible for maintaining records and entering facility, course, and participant information into the learning management system or other appropriate system. Interacts with external stakeholders, vendors, and college employees in support of department initiatives; performs related research as needed. Prepares regular activity reports and provides them to necessary individuals or departments. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (required). Associate’s degree preferred. Experience supporting training and development activities. Experience operating and training others in the use of multimedia equipment. Experience coordinating budgets preferred. Knowledge of office administration principles and practices. Knowledge of event coordination and/or training and development principles. Proficient with personal computers and general office software. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Research, recommendation, and report preparation skills. Organizational and prioritization skills; meets deadlines. High attention to detail. Ability to travel between campus and other worksites in Orlando area as needed. Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student and employee populations. Benefits Grant‑funded position with an anticipated end date of June 30, 2027.
