Purpose:
Repair and maintain a variety of facilities, production, and building equipment, along with related
work involved in maintaining the building.

Repair and maintain a variety of facilities, production, and building equipment, along with related
work involved in maintaining the building.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Maintain control and motor systems
- Diagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts
- Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed
- Support & comply with safety & environmental guidelines
- Communicate daily with Production and Shipping Managers
- Support & comply with safety & environmental guidelines
- Diagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts
- Communicate daily with the Plant Manager and Warehouse Manager to develop a daily list of priorities for the maintenance team
- Drive 5S workplace organization in the maintenance area and support the initiative throughout the manufacturing and warehousing operations
- Research and purchase parts as needed for machine break downs and/or spare parts replacement
- Improve machine up time by ensuring all CM's and PM's are properly performed and documented
- Basic math skills
- Bilingual preferred
- Good English language skills
- Welding skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Strong electrical knowledge
- Basic understanding of motor controls and ability to read wiring diagrams
