Trust Strategist, Legal Assistant

Responsibilities Support a team of trust strategists throughout the Baird Trust footprint with a variety of administrative functions including scheduling meetings, managing CRM entries, and general support. Assist with pre-acceptance and onboarding of new trust company clients including working with financial advisors and their staff to help them understand trust company processes to ensure a smooth experience. Assist in creating marketing and presentation material related to the trust company services and trust planning subject matter for use by the Trust Strategist team. Serve as a liaison with other functional areas, external customers, and vendors in the resolution of routine administrative and operational issues. Provide administrative support including answering telephones, assisting visitors, and resolving and/or referring a range of administrative problems and inquiries. Compose and edit correspondence and/or memoranda from dictation, verbal direction or from knowledge of established policies. Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, interviews, appointments and/or other similar activities, which may include coordinating travel and lodging arrangements. Coordinate and perform a range of staff and/or operational support activities for the Trust Legal team and Baird Trust Chief Operating Officer. Prepare or assist in preparing recurring and/or ad hoc statistical and narrative internal reports for Baird Trust leadership. Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records and/or other documents including the trust company future fiduciary appointment database. Requirements High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification preferred. Experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 2-3 years of experience as an administrative assistant in a securities-related industry preferred.
