Maintenance TechnicianLincoln Park Healthcare Campus is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our team. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.Perform repairs on refrigeration, kitchen equipment and other systemsMaintain heating and cooling systems to ensure functionalityConduct daily routine maintenance roundsClean, replace and inspect PTAC and HVAC filtersConduct exterior repair as neededConduct wall repairs, painting, carpentry etc.Replace ballast, bulbs and fuses etc.Must be able to complete task with minimal directionMaintenance Technician Skills:Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systemsKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsWorking knowledge of power tools and hand tools, common appliances and devicesManual dexterity and problem-solving skillsGood physical condition and strength with a willingness to workHigh school diploma or equivalent;Healthcare Maintenance experience a plusMust have reliable transportationMust be able to work every other weekendMaintenance Technician Job Type: Full-timeMaintenance Technician Pay: From $20.00 per hourMaintenance Technician Schedule:Weekends as needed
