Multifamily Lead Superintendent - Columbus Construction

Description Key Responsibilities: Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project turnover. Manage Assistant Superintendents, field staff, subcontractors, and vendors. Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules to ensure timely completion. Coordinate all trades to maximize efficiency, productivity, and quality. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget expectations. Conduct regular jobsite meetings and communicate progress with project stakeholders. Implement and enforce quality control standards throughout construction. Oversee site logistics, sequencing plans, manpower scheduling, and material procurement. Identify and proactively resolve project challenges before they impact schedule or budget. Partner closely with Project Managers, Owners, Consultants, and Design Teams. Manage inspections, punch lists, certificates of occupancy, and project closeout activities. Foster a positive jobsite culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and safety. Profile The Successful Candidate: 7+ years of construction experience with at least several years in a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent capacity. Proven experience leading ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, or large residential projects. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field management. Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing large project teams. Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of successfully delivering projects. Strong knowledge of safety procedures, quality standards, and construction best practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced construction environments. Ground-up multifamily construction experience. Experience managing projects valued at $20M+. OSHA certification and strong commitment to safety leadership. Construction Management, Engineering, or related educational background.
