Custodian 1 or 2LSU Health New Orleans Division of Property and Facilities is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Custodian 1 or 2. The hours of operation for this position is 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. This position is in a Career Progression Group. As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Custodian 1 or 2 depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant(s). Starting rate of pay for a Custodian 1 is $10 and Custodian 2 is $10.70 per hour. There is also an additional $1 Longevity pay for hours worked only. Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the applicants' qualifications. Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Cleaning elevated walkwaysCleaning elevators and stairwellsCleans glass windows and doorsParking garage, parking lot, sidewalk and curb maintenanceFollows established procedures precisely to clean and maintain restroomsFollows established procedures precisely to perform periodic floor cleaning and maintenance dutiesPerforms other related duties as assignedThis position is mainly outdoors.
