Sr Data Analyst
Location: Irving, TX – Need only locals
Duration: 12+ months – W2 contract
Experienced senior data analyst with 12+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
- Develop and document KPIs, metrics, and data definitions.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and executive-level reporting.
Skills & qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong expertise in SQL (advanced queries, joins, window functions, performance tuning).
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik, etc.).
- Experience working with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Teradata, etc.).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data analytics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
