This individual has the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience through their interactions, including providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. Greeters may be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction. If you have worked as a restaurant host or hostess, your skills are invaluable to the position of Greeter at Hyatt. Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job Duties Include: Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for the staff. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Perform regular inspection of the dining rooms and maintain cleanliness of the facility while communicating with management areas of concern. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ability to prioritize well and remember all guests' requests. Openness to constructive feedback and being coached/mentored. The wage for this position is $24.75. This is the pay rate for this position that Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
