Accounting Manager/Supervisor

DescriptionKevin Wong with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee core financial operations and support day-to-day administrative accounting functions in Hillsboro, Oregon. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating payroll and benefits-related activities, and helping ensure timely reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities, including reviewing invoices, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring timely payment processing.• Examine and approve employee expense submissions while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company policies.• Record financial transactions in QuickBooks and maintain tracking tools that support reporting accuracy and operational visibility.• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, monitor accounting data, and help support annual budgeting activities.• Administer payroll processing and coordinate banking-related tasks to maintain smooth day-to-day financial operations.• Serve as a point of contact for HR-related administrative matters, including supporting onboarding steps for new employees.• Oversee insurance-related administration, including renewals, policy updates, address changes, and communication with external carriers.• Coordinate annual compliance activities such as workers’ compensation audits, retirement plan tracking and review, and corporate card payment management.• Maintain supporting logs and trackers for invoices, travel-related reporting, and other accounting documentation to promote organized recordkeeping. Job Order: 03600-0013480691Requirements• Demonstrated experience managing month-end close activities and supporting accurate financial reporting.• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, including journal entry preparation and account analysis.• Experience performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.• Familiarity with financial statement audits and the ability to prepare documentation for audit support.• Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong capability in accounting data entry, tracking, and reporting.• Working knowledge of payroll administration, accounts payable processes, and banking procedures.• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.Job typePerm
