Direct Support Professional - Assistant

Partnership Resources, Inc. is seeking a part‑time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our day program. DSPs are key advocates who foster joyful living by supporting individual choice, skill development and community exploration. This part‑time DSP - Assistant position is an entry level role focused on providing flexible, hands‑on support with activities in a classroom setting. As a DSP - Assistant, You Will Assist with recreation, leisure and skill‑building activities in a collaborative, team environment. We do everything! Language skills help us to coordinate services and support participation for individuals served Must be able to pass a background check with the MN Department of Human Services Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa Minimum age requirement is 18 years Must be able to regularly push/pull/lift 21-50 pounds Ability to withstand 6 or more hours of standing or walking in an 8-hour workday Ability and willingness to assist individuals in activities of daily living including feeding, restroom assistance and other self‑help skills Ability or willingness to learn basic computer and technology skills This position does not require you to transport individuals Our vision is that every person with disabilities thrives in an inclusive community.
