Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an Interventional Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for an Interventional Cardiologist:

• Provide hospital coverage including consults, outpatient and inpatient catheterizations, and TEEs • Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM for scheduled coverage • Provide Monday through Friday STEMI call coverage from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Provide weekend STEMI call coverage on a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM schedule • Manage an average of 15 consults per day • Perform an average of 3 procedures per day • Perform special procedures including TEEs, Echo reads, cardiac catheterizations, and Cardiac Windows • Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting • Maintain board certification or be at least board eligible • Maintain active Physician Assistant (PA) licensure • Maintain active DEA registration • Complete credentialing requirements within the required timeframe • Submit Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results within 5 days of signing • Schedule Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection within required timeframe • Meet all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing • Maintain full compliance with all credentialing and privileging requirements
