Schedule

Training: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM (temporary training schedule). Regular Schedule: Friday–Monday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM following completion of training.

Assignment Details

Contract length and guaranteed hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• Experience with decontamination procedures for various medical equipment.
• Knowledge of sterilization processes (sterrad and steam).
• Experience with High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scopes.
• Experience in sterile storage management.
• Experience as an OR liaison.
• Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system.
• Ability to manage case carts and OR calls.
• Certification: CBSPD or CRCST through HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Oversee the sterilization process to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Maintain organized sterile storage areas.
• Coordinate with operating room staff for efficient instrument availability.
• Manage tracking systems for equipment and instruments throughout the facility.
• Respond to OR calls as necessary.
