Senior Project Controls Analyst

Senior Project Controls AnalystWe are seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to support project scheduling, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis for electric utility projects. The ideal candidate will have strong Primavera P6 scheduling experience and a solid understanding of project controls.Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and other project management tools.Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, milestones, risks, and schedule performance.Prepare weekly and monthly project status, cost, schedule, and performance reports.Analyze cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.Support Project Managers with forecasting, budgeting, estimates, change orders, and project closeout.Maintain project documentation, records, and tracking logs.Validate project data and perform cost and financial analysis.Coordinate with Project Managers, engineering, finance, and other stakeholders.Support process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc reporting requests.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.8+ years of related experience for external candidates.CAPM or PMP certification.Strong Primavera P6 scheduling experience.Experience in project controls, project management, construction management, budgeting, or forecasting.Strong Excel and analytical skills.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with SAP, SAP/BW, EPM, Access, Unifier, ProjectWise, or HeavyBid.Knowledge of risk management and earned value analysis.Utility, electric transmission/distribution, or construction project experience.Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $80.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
