As a Staffing Coordinator , you will serve as the central hub connecting patients, field nurses, and specialty pharmacies. Your primary mission is to ensure every patient receives timely care by seamlessly managing nurse calendars, identifying coverage gaps, and implementing efficient, sustainable scheduling strategies in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
Workforce & Schedule Management: Investigate daily pharmacy staffing needs and proactively schedule nurses to align with patient requirements and nurse availability.
Daily Coordination: Update and maintain nurses' calendars daily, ensuring clear and accurate schedule visibility across teams.
Proactive Problem Solving: Identify hard-to-fill shifts or territories early and take immediate action to secure coverage.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, empathetic, and professional communication with patients, clinical staff, and pharmacy teams.
Reporting & Strategy: Prepare and submit operational staffing reports while helping build sustainable, long-term staffing solutions.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in healthcare scheduling, nurse dispatch, home health coordination, or high-volume workforce staffing.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
Organization: Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to prioritize changing needs in a fast-paced setting.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with electronic scheduling systems, calendar management tools, and MS Office.
