Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Role Overview The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech therapy rehabilitation to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. Responsibilities Establish, assess, and modify treatment goals develop and implement therapy plans document progress accurately utilize therapy software collaborate with interdisciplinary teams support patient recovery and functional improvement oversee and evaluate care provided by Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates if applicable participate in community health projects and maintain professional relationships while safeguarding confidentiality. Qualifications & Skills Must have an MS or MA in speech therapy from an accredited program, be ASHA certified or eligible for CFY, and hold an active state license. Preferred experience in post-acute care. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, ability to make independent decisions, knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, and CPR certification are required.
