Technical Recruiter (EST Time Zone) - Software Engineers - US, Canada, LATAM

We are an early-stage startup with a unique business model. To support our growth, we need a **technical recruiter** based in or able to work **Eastern Time (EST)** hours. You will work directly with the business owner to help us find and engage software engineering talent primarily from the **United States, Canada, and Latin America**.

This is a **part-time, long-term role (1–2 years minimum)**. We are looking for a contributor who learns quickly, communicates clearly, and can help developers truly understand our specific business model—not just match skills.

**What You’ll Do:**

- Source and attract software engineers from the US, Canada, and LATAM

- Help developers understand our unique business model and work environment

- Use professional recruiting tools and platforms to find global talent

- Screen candidates for strong **American English** communication skills

- Coordinate with the business owner daily or as needed (responsiveness is key)

**What We’re Looking For:**

- Experience as a technical recruiter (in-house or agency)

- Strong existing network or community of developers in the target regions

- Familiar with job boards, LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, or similar sourcing tools

- **Own recruiting company or agency** strongly preferred (to post jobs and collect candidates efficiently)

- Fast learner – able to understand and explain our unique business model to engineers

- Excellent written and spoken English

- Reliable, responsive, and able to work in **EST time zone**

**Compensation & Commitment:**

- Part-time, flexible hours (exact weekly commitment to be discussed)

- Long-term collaboration expected (1–2+ years)

- Payments processed through Upwork (hourly or milestone-based)
