Job Description:

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION AREA: Academic Success Center - MA

Prior to hiring, candidates will undergo a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle records review, and employer/professional reference verification. POSITION DUTIES :

1. Greet students and maintain a welcoming atmosphere by managing the flow of the Center and assisting with Accudemia sign-ins, as well as basic computer and other office-related tasks.

2. Assist with workshops, events, and create simple promotional materials.

3. Maintain center cleanliness and organize student resources.

4. Provide basic academic support and communicate student needs to supervisors.

5. Support other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Federal Work-Study eligibility required.

2. Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

3. Reliable, professional, able to work independently, and work well with others.

4. Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.

5. Ability to assist with events and routine office tasks.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: (In addition to the minimum qualifications)

• Students must have completed the financial aid application process, including filing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Students must be either U.S. citizens, permanent resident aliens, or other eligible classifications of non-citizen.
• Students must have financial need as determined by a uniform need analysis evaluation performed by Chatt Tech according to federal guidelines based on FAFSA.
• Students must be enrolled for the semester they are working as a work-study employee.
• Students must be in good academic standing at the college and maintain satisfactory academic progress according to federal guidelines.
• Students must pass a mandatory background check.

SALARY/BENEFITS: $12.00 per hour. Students may not work more than 19 hours per week. No Benefits.
