About the Role

The Company is seeking a Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs to serve as its chief academic officer, providing strategic leadership in academic planning, quality, and the overall academic division. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing institutional priorities, strengthening undergraduate and graduate education, supporting faculty excellence and shared governance, and promoting innovation in teaching and learning. This role also involves enhancing the growth of research and sponsored programs, and aligning academic strategy with student success, enrollment goals, and the company's impact and reputation. The Provost will lead the academic colleges, oversee academic programs, and core academic support functions, and is expected to have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Applicants for the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs position at the company should hold an earned doctorate and have a record of scholarly and teaching accomplishments suitable for a tenured full professor. Substantial senior leadership experience in academic affairs, a proven track record in faculty affairs and shared governance, and a strong focus on advancing student success and educational excellence are essential. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability in fiscal stewardship, operational leadership, and a leadership presence that can strengthen the institution's reputation. The role requires a candidate with excellent communication skills, the ability to serve as a trusted partner to various stakeholders, and a commitment to continuous improvement and equitable academic outcomes.
