Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member Full Time, Bay City, MI We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented individual to join our State Farm team as a Receptionist. The candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage appointments, and support the team in a supportive and collaborative environment. Role Description The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and eager to learn within the insurance industry. You will greet customers both in person and over the phone, direct inquiries, maintain records, and engage in sales conversations to present insurance options. You will also handle various administrative tasks and support projects that contribute to a productive workplace. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers’ needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects. Qualifications Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable engaging in sales conversations. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
