Job Description

Hibernia United Methodist Church is seeking a dependable, organized, and ministry-minded Church

Administrator / Financial Administrator to support the daily operations, communications, and financial

management of the church. This part-time position plays a vital role in supporting the pastor, church

leadership, and congregation while helping ensure the church operates efficiently and responsibly.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour, approximately 10-12 hours per week.

Qualifications

Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills
Experience with bookkeeping, financial recordkeeping, or accounting software
Proficiency with email, word processing, spreadsheets, Google Calendar, and database systems
Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling church and financial records
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a church environment
Experience with ServantKeeper and QuickBooks is helpful

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys serving in a faith-based environment and has a heart for supporting the ministry and mission of the church through strong organization and financial stewardship.
