Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant for a 1-month contract with a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Process and record vendor invoices accurately and timely within the appropriate accounting period Reconcile Accounts Payable balances with aging reports, general ledger, and bank activity Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding A/P matters Review daily cash activity and record transactions in the general ledger Prepare journal entries and assist with bank reconciliations Support monthly close activities, including account reconciliations and adjustments Assist with special projects and additional accounting duties as needed Qualifications 1–3 years of Accounts Payable or Staff Accounting experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Education & Skills Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams Experience with accounting systems (Sage preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
