1st Shift Welder

Earlville, IA | $23/Hour

Mon-Thu | 5:00am - 3:30pm

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform MIG welding on steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measuring instruments.

• Set up and adjust welding equipment for different materials and thicknesses.

• Grind, fit, and prepare parts before and after welding.

• Inspect completed welds for quality and dimensional accuracy.

• Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, plasma cutters, and press brakes when needed.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Keep work areas clean and assist with routine equipment maintenance.

• Lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.

• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production and quality goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous MIG welding or fabrication experience.

• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.

• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical work.

• Reliable attendance and teamwork skills.
