Industry Banking Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in need of a Vice President of Compliance to provide regulatory oversight and advisory support across its lending and deposit businesses. The successful candidate will be the primary compliance advisor, ensuring adherence to U.S. consumer protection laws and prudential banking regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining fair lending oversight, developing and enhancing consumer compliance programs, and conducting enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments. The Vice President of Compliance will also be responsible for leading regulatory interactions, overseeing remediation efforts, and designing and delivering compliance training programs. Applicants must have 8-12 years' of experience in banking compliance, with a strong focus on consumer protection, and a deep knowledge of U.S. banking regulations. Direct experience interacting with regulatory agencies is essential, and experience in a Fair Lending Officer or similar governance-focused role is strongly preferred. The role requires a proven ability to design and implement compliance programs, strong stakeholder management skills, and excellent communication abilities.
