Course Grader - Arts & Entertainment Technologies (Open to Work Study and Non-Work Study) Hiring Department: OnRamps Position Open To: All Applicants Weekly Scheduled Hours: 15 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt from FLSA Earliest Start Date: Immediately Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until Dec 31, 2026 Location: AUSTIN, TX Pay: $12.00 - $14.50 hourly (semester‑based increments) Purpose The Arts & Entertainment Technologies (AET) Course Support employee assists with a variety of needs in the OnRamps AET 304 course, collaborating closely with the AET Course Manager and AET Course Coordinator to assess student submissions, provide feedback, and support urgent and seasonal projects. Responsibilities Critically evaluate Arts and Entertainment Technologies project submissions using a rubric and provide thoughtful, focused feedback. Participate in course prototyping, user testing, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with OnRamps program staff on continuous improvement processes toward achieving program objectives and staff leadership principles. Attend and contribute to team meetings. Current Student Qualifications Current student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Arts & Entertainment Technologies, Design, Curriculum & Instruction, Learning Technology, Instructional Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. Knowledge of high school teaching and learning environments. At least 1 year of experience working in a professional office environment. Basic knowledge of visualization software (Photoshop / Illustrator), Design Thinking, and sound editing software (BandLab). Preferred Qualifications Current student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Arts & Entertainment Technologies, Design, Curriculum & Instruction, Learning Technology, Instructional Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. Knowledge of high school teaching and learning environments. More than 1 year of experience working in a professional office environment. Advanced knowledge of visualization software (Photoshop / Illustrator), Design Thinking, and sound editing software (BandLab). Salary $12.00 – $14.50 hourly, dependent on experience and tenure with OnRamps. Working Conditions May work around standard office conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
