Maintenance Supervisor

4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Description Directs the activities of maintenance operations in a timely and efficient manner in order to support plant operations. Directs the work of group leaders, maintenance technicians and HVAC maintenance technicians within the department. Reports To Maintenance Manager Responsibilities Must know all Safety Requirements, Departmental and Plant Wide. Must be able to maintain departmental 5‑S for assigned areas and equipment. Must be able to complete required departmental paperwork. Have general knowledge of computer software and maintenance work order system. Supervises the activities of group leaders and maintenance technicians. Coordinates with other departments to provide services and follows up to assure completion. Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices. Assures that tools and equipment are properly maintained and all preventative maintenance is performed to assure efficient operations. Assures efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices. Responsible for administering employee performance evaluations and recommendations of wage increases. Establishes and maintains good employee relations and adheres to proper disciplinary measures when required. Supports the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures. Education High School graduate or GED with additional specialized education or training. Experience Three to five years of supervisory related experience. Skills Excellent interpersonal skills.
