Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Completing all required documentation in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that promote healthy coping strategies.

• Engaging proactively in licensing, accreditation, and quality assurance activities to uphold the organization’s commitment to excellence.

• Acting as a liaison with various community partners, state agencies, and relevant service systems to facilitate optimal client care.

• Maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders to meet contractual obligations and support the mission of Long Beach Counseling Services.

• Establishing and nurturing relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to explore partnership opportunities and potential funding sources.

• Participating in professional development activities, including conferences and training seminars, to enhance your skills and represent our agency.

• Advocating for our agency's mission and principles in all professional interactions and community events.

• Performing various other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the team and organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position, candidates must possess:
