Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews for clients, documenting information accurately from the initial consultation through the entire treatment journey.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to identify areas of concern and strengths.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring each plan aligns with best practices in mental health.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based techniques to promote healing and personal growth.
\n
• Monitor client progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes based on client needs and feedback.

• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

• Follow up with mental health specialists and attending physicians regarding clients who may require hospitalization or additional support.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
