Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry
Location: Bricktown, NJ 08724
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day/Night | 3×12 hours
Schedule: 36 hours/week
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted
Pay Rate:
Local: $50–$55/hr
Traveler: $58–$62/hr
Required Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey RN license or Multistate Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Major acute-care hospital experience
- BLS (AHA) — Required
- ACLS (AHA) — Required
- NIHSS — Required
- Telemetry certification — Required
- 4-hour Stroke CEU — Required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) — Required
- BSN preferred
- Strong telemetry monitoring and acute-care nursing skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and therapeutic nursing interventions
- Document patient care accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide patient-centered and evidence-based nursing care
