Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized cardiac care in a level 1 facility. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, critical environment, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced cardiac patient care within the CVICU setting.
• Utilize EPIC electronic charting system accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor patient vitals, manage ventilators, and respond to emergent situations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Floats within scope of practice to other units as needed, maintaining flexibility.
• Complete required modules during orientation and adhere to facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license, VA or compact state, at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent CVICU or ICU experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC charting software.
• Have all background checks completed, including fingerprinting if required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Be able to provide two professional references.
