What will you do
Under general direction is responsible for the sale of Johnson Controls BE offerings to owners at the Director and/or Vice President level. Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners end users by providing business and technical solutions. Builds and manages long term customer relationships/partnerships with assigned accounts. Positions renewable service agreements as a foundation of managed account relationships. Executes the sales process to aid in cultivating and managing long-term relationships and in seeking out, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities.

How you will do it

· Sells, with minimal supervision, the Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to building owners at the Director/VP-level while reaching optimal profit levels.

· Focuses on improving the existing and new facilities to allow the building owner to achieve business objectives.

· Sells, renews, and expands renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing assigned customers.

· Uncover and develop turnkey HVAC and Controls solutions for owners.

· Builds partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Johnson Control offerings through account management.

· Addresses customer's operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements. Recommends solutions and links customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage.

· Differentiates Johnson Controls services and products from competitors by applying creativity, ingenuity, and innovation in a value -added sales approach.

What we look for

Required

• Associate degree in a related technical field with two years of relevant work experience required; or equivalent work experience (with no degree) of three years successfully selling HVAC or building automation systems.
• We’re looking for an experienced sales professional who can build strong relationships with building owners and senior decision makers while developing HVAC, controls, and service solutions that address customers’ operational and facility needs.
• The ideal candidate has experience selling HVAC or building automation systems, developing new business, managing accounts, and growing renewable service agreements. Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone who can confidently communicate both the technical and business value of the solutions they recommend.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five years progressively responsible field sales; 3 years selling HVAC or building automation systems.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $85,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
