Apply advanced mathematics expertise to help improve how AI systems solve, explain, and reason through complex mathematical problems. This remote contractor role focuses on producing rigorous, real-world mathematical input, evaluating model outputs, and collaborating with experts across mathematical disciplines. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, and develop solutions for advanced pure and applied mathematics problems.
- Write detailed, well-organized explanations, proofs, and technical analyses across mathematical topics.
- Assess AI-generated mathematical outputs for accuracy, clarity, and rigor, then provide actionable feedback to improve them.
- Create and annotate high-quality, domain-specific datasets for AI training and benchmarking.
- Document technical methodologies and communicate complex mathematical concepts clearly in writing and conversation.
- Collaborate remotely with subject matter experts from varied mathematical disciplines.
Qualifications
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Advanced mathematics and mathematical problem-solving skills.
- Experience writing research papers, mathematical proofs, or technical reports.
- Experience reviewing or critiquing mathematical reasoning, logic, or computational solutions.
- Ability to translate complex mathematical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with clarity and precision.
- Familiarity with current mathematical trends, open problems, or applications in related fields.
- Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and contribute effectively within a remote team.
