Seeking one Vocal Music Director and one Director w/ Light Choreo skills for Honk Jr! Unity Stage Company Youth Musical Theater Sunnyside, NY US DESCRIPTION Unity Stage Company is looking for an energetic, responsible Vocal Music Director for HONK Jr! to Teach, Coach and Review the music for kids in grades 2 thru 6. In operation since 2010 our most recent productions are The Little Mermaid Jr, Dear Edwina Jr, Annie KIDS, Oliver Jr, and Shrek Jr. We need you to accompany live or teach using MTI provided tracks. If you're a Teaching Artist with recent experience Directing kids in musical theater shows, we'd love to hear from you. Ideally you have at least basic choreography skills, Honk Jr! is not a dance heavy show. Rehearsals and performances take place in Jackson Heights, Queens on lovely 82nd Street. Our two-hour rehearsal sessions are on Sundays 4:30 to 6:30pm. Shows perform May 1st and May 2nd, 2027. Please send us a note about your love of teaching kids, along with a resume & a couple of references showing your history of working with kids in musical theater.
