About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for IS Operations and Technology to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key partner to clinical and business leaders, ensuring the operational integrity, reliability, and continuous improvement of the technology infrastructure and IS services. This role is pivotal in balancing day-to-day operational excellence with strategic infrastructure planning to support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment. The Executive Director will be responsible for managing the departmental budget, human resources, and all activities related to the availability, security, and performance of clinical, administrative, and operational information systems. Collaboration with the security team to mitigate cybersecurity threats is also a critical aspect of the position. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related healthcare field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of ten years of healthcare IT and operations experience, including at least five years in a supervisory or managerial role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare IT, a passion for technology innovation, and a commitment to the values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence. The role involves leading and developing a team of IS managers, engineers, and support staff, and the Executive Director will be expected to solve problems, recommend sound solutions, and enhance the safety of the environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
