NeuroPsych Regional Specialty Manager - Central CA

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a regional specialty manager to lead sales teams promoting neurological and psychiatric treatments in Central California. The role involves team recruitment, sales strategy execution, performance management, and stakeholder engagement across the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing regional sales team members
• Drive regional sales strategy implementation to meet or exceed objectives in psychiatric and neurological markets
• Conduct field coaching and performance analysis; provide regular feedback and development opportunities
• Manage regional budget and expenses while ensuring compliance with company and FDA policies
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy/payer stakeholders

Requirements

• BS/BA degree with 8+ years biotech/pharma sales experience, including 3+ years first-line management
• Master's degree preferred with 6+ years relevant experience, or PhD with 4+ years
• Proven sales performance with track record of meeting/exceeding quotas and recognition
• Successful experience launching complex products in competitive markets
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environment and FDA guidelines
• Demonstrated leadership ability, cross-functional collaboration skills, and business acumen
• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and adaptability to ambiguous environments
