Salesforce Application Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Salesforce Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. The role involves working across Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL Server, and Oracle platforms to support agency operations, ensuring best-practice architecture and coding standards are followed. Responsibilities:

• Create, implement, and maintain applications across Salesforce, MuleSoft, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle.
• Perform deep-dive analysis and reverse engineering of existing code for fixes and enhancements.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and functional users to determine requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams for planning, design, development, and implementation.
• Ensure interfaces and programs comply with technology directives and regulations.
• Write technical documentation on application specifications.
• Design and deploy technology and process solutions for operational improvements.
• Maintain effective working relationships across the Department and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 7+ years of developer experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Lead Developer experience on Salesforce implementations.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions applications and APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of MuleSoft integrations.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Salesforce development, configuration, and administration skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and source control/versioning best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Ability to assess, refactor, and redesign existing systems for optimal solutions.
• Experience translating complex technical and regulatory information into clear documentation.
• Strong multi-task management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
